Silvano Assensi was born in Piaggione near Lucca in the Tuscany region of Italy. At a young age, Silvano discovered his ability to sculpt and paint. He came to America in 1960 where he established his own studio. Silvano was born with the desire to create a visual perception of his dialog with life that can be seen in the reality of his paintings. His chromatic pallet of nature comes alive with canvases in a poetic form of communication and expresses typical impressionismo.

Silvano's works of art grace many private collections and numerous galleries throughout America and Europe.
